2025 Smart #1 and #3: Electric SUVs priced for Australia
Smart’s Australian distributor has locked in local pricing and specifications for the brand’s return, detailing its two electric models.
LSH Auto, Australia’s largest Mercedes-Benz retailer, will sell the Smart #1 and #3 across outlets in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane from September, offering three variants of each electric SUV.
Both the Smart #1 and Smart #3 will be sold in three guises: Pro+, Premium and Brabus.

Despite the Smart #3 being slightly larger than the Smart #1 – measuring 4.4m long compared to its 4.27m long sibling – the two models share electric drivetrains.
The Smarts also share their drivetrains and platform with the Volvo EX30, however the latter provides greater claimed driving range for a slightly higher price – ranging from $390 to $7390 in difference.
