7 Days to Die Cheese Would Make Even the Most Difficult Nights Easy to Survive

7 Days to Die players who are struggling to survive against hordes might want to take notes from this one lucky Redditor. They managed to figure out a partial cheese that not only protects you from zombies trying to break into your base but is also just entertaining to watch.

While it’s not completely fool-proof, being able to pull it off in the early days will put you a few steps ahead than if you didn’t.

7 Days to Die Cheese Will Have You (and the Zombies) Jumping for Joy

You might’ve previously come across complaints of 7 Days to Die bugging out or behaving in mysterious ways that aren’t fun to experience at all, sometimes crossing over into game-breaking territory.

Whether this odd zombie behavior that this Redditor managed to capture is a bug or completely intentional, it’s going to make you feel the complete opposite of what a game-breaking glitch would do.

In the clip, you’ll see a few zombies endlessly jumping to try to get to OP, except they’re stuck beyond the barricade and can’t get in. OP can still damage them, however.

Normally, these monstrosities would attempt to get past by breaking through. For some reason though, all they can do is jump non-stop.

From a few explanations in the replies, the barricade looks to be a fence with a bar rotated on top of it, and another bar one block above.

As nice as it would be to use this 7 Days to Die exploit on all the different zombie types you come across and grind them with your eyes closed, OP warns that this doesn’t work all the time.

They explain that it’s a “partial” cheese more than anything, as it only works on a few zombies.

Gathering what OP has said across a few comments, it looks like biker zombies can get you, larger hordes will break walls, and cops will try to spit instead of jump. Other replies mention that radiated and explosive zombies also have a chance of damaging you.

Regardless, watching these 7 Days to Die zombies mindlessly jump with no attempt to change strategies has people cackling to no end.

Even though it won’t work 100% of the time, some people are finding use in the strategy. One player mentions replacing the barricade with an electric fence, which would help a lot with hordes.

The beauty of 7 Days to Die‘s crafting and building mechanics give players an endless amount of creative space to try out any kind of strategy they want.

On that note, we’d like to ask you if you’ve discovered any similar “partial cheese” tactics in 7 Days to Die that aren’t exactly exploits, but aren’t the most head-on ways of fighting the zombies either. Drop your strategies in the comments below!
