Man accused of attacking bike rider in Boulder: Can you identify him?

DENVER (KDVR) — Boulder police are hoping to identify a man accused of assaulting a bicyclist on Sunday.

A community member reported to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office that while riding his bike eastbound on Walnut Street near Ninth Street, he encountered a man walking westbound. The area is only two blocks from Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall. It’s unclear when the incident occurred on Sunday.

According to police, the walking man allegedly put his “arm out parallel to the ground, almost as if he was going to clothesline the victim.”

The man on his bike could not stop in time, and the suspect “then made an uppercut motion, striking the victim in the face.”
