Anger Foot Publisher Devolver Digital Planning ‘New Game Announcement’ This Week
In a recent post on X, Anger Foot publisher Devolver Digital revealed plans for a new game announcement tomorrow, July 18, 2024.
The team did not offer further details about the potential announcement, nor a concrete time. However, it will be revealed “Thursday night,” so it should come up around Devolver Digital’s evening time zone.
Fans are quickly speculating on the possible IP involved. As publisher, Devolver Digital only just released Anger Foot on PC last week to ‘Very Positive’ Steam reviews.
Following solid word of mouth, some players are already requesting a sequel. Insider Gaming called Anger Foot “hilarious,” and “one of the zaniest FPS titles ever made.”
Many will also recognize Devolver Digital for publishing titles like Cult of the Lamb, Stick It to the Stickman, The Talos Principle 2, and more. It also worked on the Serious Sam IP for years, so it would also make sense to continue that series in some way.
The team often includes striking humor in its marketing and games. Most recently, it held a Devolver Direct 2024 showcase in June. During the event, Devolver Digital made a few big announcements for Cult of the Lamb, Tenjutsu, Possessor(s), and more.
