Fortnite Chapter 6 Set to Debut the Biggest Change in Years to Battle Royale

Fortnite is one of the biggest live service games available in the market and it could get even bigger after the developers add new features. The gaming community quickly fell in love with the ambitious combat and gameplay mechanics introduced by Epic Games years ago.

Fortnite players expect some collaboration or crossover with the Marvel film and the developers will piggyback on the film’s success and hype.

The upcoming chapter will feature a swinging mechanic and could be inspired by previous animations like scaling and climbing. Players have been requesting a first-person mode, and developers might be able to deliver in the following chapter for UEFN and potentially be added to traditional battle royale matches.

It is best to take this news with a grain of salt but there is a strong likelihood that Epic Games will try more ambitious and unconventional methods to elevate the gaming experience. Previous leaks also mentioned an upcoming game mode labeled as MoonJade and players will only use melee weapons.

Content variety is essential for the game to remain on top and look back on Chapter 5 as a learning experience to avoid making the same mistakes. It is time for Epic Games to step out of its comfort zone.
