Black Ops 6 is the Last Chance for 1 Forgotten Mode to Return, But Zombies Could Suffer

Black Ops 6 is set to be released later this year and the gaming community is looking forward to what Raven Software and Treyarch have been working on for the past few years. The franchise has struggled with releasing quality content in the past and this suggestion could benefit this year’s entry.

The franchise has been passed from one game developer to the next and has received significant improvements like a game mode featuring the undead. The zombie game mode quickly became a fan-favorite and some players think the latest Black Ops game should bring them back in some capacity.

The Gaming Community Would Not Mind Seeing Zombies in Black Ops 6

Activision has made some creative changes to the franchise and while some are forgettable, there are a few standouts. Blood is part of warfare, and the developers of older entries did not shy away from a realistic experience and some fans believe that dismemberment and gore would benefit Black Ops 6.

While the undead is an unlikely concept that would make sense to the lore or narrative of the franchise, Activision realized that the genre would fit nicely with the first-person shooter gameplay that the developers have been working with for the past few years and some fans believe the Zombies should make a comeback.

The developers have been cooking up a storm for the zombies in Modern Warfare 3 Season 4. It is on the top of the list; however, some fans were skeptical about it.

Old-school players of Call of Duty are not open to this new concept as it deviated too far from the franchise’s core, however, Outbreak is a great alternative for the round-based mode and is filled with different activities to improve content variety.

The idea of a round-based Call of Duty Zombies game mode appealed to the gaming community and helped boost the franchise’s popularity.

The cycle of facing hordes of the undead with fellow players and surviving from one wave to the next can make up for a fun yet stressful experience with a group of friends to go through together.

Earlier reports suggest that the upcoming zombies’ mode in Black Ops 6 will be the complete package that takes all the best parts of previous iterations and will likely be the culmination of everything the game developers have worked on for the past few years. Only time will tell as to whether these earlier claims have any bearing.

There was some skepticism surrounding the game mode, however, it was a great addition to the Call of Duty franchise. It offers the gaming community more options on what to do if they are uninterested in playing competitively in multiplayer matches or finished the single-player campaign.

Treyarch repotedly fought for the round-based zombies game mode in the past and it is a testament to the developers’ dedication and commitment to see this game mode flourish. There is no telling what other behind-the-scenes drama transpired years prior, but it all worked well for the gaming community.

Perhaps the developers should consider bringing back Outbreak to encourage players to have longer sessions and showcase the undead. The gaming community will try anything, especially if it piques their interests.
