Not the Anime This Time, But 1 Ultimate Needs to Make the Jump From Another Title

As it has always been with our Dragon Ball protagonist, he always keeps a range of techniques handy. Taking the opponents by surprise isn’t really surprising for fans anymore. They are just happy looking at him at the edges of their seats, waiting for him to unleash something they can savor.

Now that we have come a long way and are about to see what is probably going to be the best video game adaptation of the series so far, they need one of his infamous moves in it. It’s called the meteor combination—the same move that took Piccolo Jr. by surprise.

Dragon Ball Fans Hope to See More Cinematics Like This

They don’t want Spike Chunsoft to leave anything behind. Fans basically want Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero to become the ultimate game that simply includes everything.

In just over two months, we will be seeing the Bandai Namco game hit the shelves. Until then, fans are just stacking up their wishes, which they hope will be granted by the game.

A user shared a clip of Goku executing Meteor Combination against Piccolo Jr. in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and fans were hoping to see it in the upcoming game too.

Others were seen chiming in to favor the user in the comments.

Some were just hoping to see more of such cinematics in the game.

The last game in the Budokai Tenkaichi series had that, so we can assume it will be carried forward here too.

It Was Something That Piccolo May Not Have Simply Forgotten, Just Like That

Goku executed the move in the original anime when Piccolo Jr. was still an enemy, given that our protagonist put a hole in the Demon King Piccolo’s chest.

It was Piccolo’s determination to defeat Goku that prompted him to attack the Hyper Explosive Demon Wave, which destroyed the arena. But that didn’t really stop Goku, and Piccolo ended up being beaten to a pulp by the Dragon Ball protagonist.

There will be a lot of nostalgia in the game as we will get to see a range of skills from each character that is to appear in it. From Piccolo’s Special Beam Cannon to Vegeta’s Big Bang Attack, a lot of it is there in the game.

And with the inclusion of Story Mode in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, we are pretty sure to relive anime as get to finally play it in October 2024. While there’s a bit of time left for its release, we may get to see some trailers of the game too.

What other techniques of Goku other than Meteor Combination appeal to you? We would like to know about it in the comments section below.
