Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro was reelected for another term. The electoral center said Maduro won Sunday’s election with 51.2% of the vote. Speaking after the announcement, Maduro thanked the electorate for “defending” democracy, the laws and Venezuelan people. (Source: Associated Press).
