Niantic Got Something Right with a Recent Update and It’s Resulting in Some Serious Impressive Results
In the eight years since its original debut way back in 2016, Pokemon Go has added over 1000 Pokemon added as creatures that can be found and captured while walking around outside in the real world.
There’s always something for players, both new and old, to do, such as raids and special events, which are being constantly updated.
Unfortunately, the past few months have been quite a bumpy ride for Niantic, as the studio has suffered a lot of flak from the community. Trainers aren’t satisfied with the state of remote raiding, trading, and the lackluster events.
Despite all the complaints, the community applauds Niantic for overhauling Pokemon Go Photo Mode!
Pokemon Go’s Photo Mode is Probably Niantic’s Greatest Work
Among the many fun and useful features, you’ll come across Photo Mode in Pokemon Go, which allows trainers to take snapshots of their favorite Pokemon, as well as capture real-world environments if they use AR mode. Although it was already an epic feature, Niantic enhanced it and added many new things.
With the Rediscover Yourself update, players could include up to three Pokemon in their snapshots, and the game now provides group set suggestions. That’s not all; trainers can even edit the position of their Pokemon and take advantage of the burst and timer mode.
Very happy with the new Snapshot features/updates from this year

It’s clear that Niantic has done phenomenal work with the Pokemon Go Photo Mode. Its rework was a great way to enhance the game’s creative and social aspects, encouraging players to further explore and interact with the environment around them.
Let’s hope Niantic can carry forward this momentum for the upcoming Pokemon Go updates and bring something truly ground-breaking for the game yet again.
