Buca di Beppo locations in Michigan listed as permanently closed
A restaurant chain known for its Italian fare served family-style appears to have left the Michigan market.
According to Google listings, Buca di Beppo in Livonia and Utica are permanently closed.
The chain, with spaghetti with meatballs, fettuccine alfredo and lasagna offerings, no longer lists any Michigan locations on its website. In Livonia, Buca di Beppo was at 38888 6 Mile Road between Interstate 275 and Haggerty Road.
According to comments on the Facebook group All Things Livonia, the Livonia location closed last week.
“After being part of this community for 25 years, regrettably, Buca di Beppo in Livonia has closed. We thank our customers for their loyalty — it was our privilege to be the backdrop for countless gatherings and celebrations over the past two decades,” Buca di Beppo said in an emailed statement to the Free Press.
Buca di Beppo is known for its Italian fare served family-style.
In Utica, Buca di Beppo on Hall Road appears to have closed sometime in June. A recorded message to the Utica locations said the location was permanently closed.

Lori Cooke, Utica city clerk, said the city’s inspector on June 19 went to the restaurant site and confirmed the closure. The city sent a letter, Cooke said, per a city sign ordinance to the restaurant owners on file, that the restaurant had 30 days to remove its sign. As of July 24, Cooke said, the sign was still up.
According to its website, Buca di Beppo is a brand under Florida-based Earl Enterprises portfolio of restaurants, including Chicken Guy, Bravo Italian Kitchen and Planet Hollywood.
