XDefiant’s Mark Rubin Can’t Deny Empirical Proof the Game is Dying, and It’s Obvious Why

XDefiant is a front-person multiplayer shooter that was released on May 21, 2024, and it has managed to attract a lot of players since its release. However, in the months following the release, there have been a lot of unacknowledged complaints that are shedding a negative light on the game.

Xdefiant is on the verge of dying, and there is empirical proof of that that cannot stay hidden for long. If Ubisoft wants the game to survive, it needs to act fast, or else its negligence could have a drastic effect on the game.

XDefiant On The Verge Of Dying

XDefiant has been performing very poorly in its first 10 weeks when compared to its immediate competitors like Call of Duty, Halo Infinite, and Overwatch 2. The game has a lot of problems that are not being addressed by the developers.

Many players have decided to opt out of the game as their complaints are not being acknowledged by the developers, and this rift has caused the player base of the game to fall to a significantly small number.

The game got a rushed release after a terrible beta release, which was followed by a total radio silence as no dialogue has been exchanged between the community and the developers ever since.

Many players have expressed their concern on the matter, urging Ubisoft to act fast. One Reddit user shared their opinion on the matter by sharing their experience with the game. They said:

Another user said:

In today’s time, when players have a wide array of options available, developers should not be negligent in responding to the grievances raised by the players. XDefiant is the perfect example of what negligence can do to a game.

XDefiant Can Still Bounce Back

There has not been a lot of time since the game was released and there is still time to make amends and do better in the future. Ubisoft needs to act fast, healthily address its players, and reassure them that a fix is in the works and will be available for all to see soon.

Complete silence from the developers is very frustrating for players who have been playing the game for a while and raising concerns over the bugs that have been surfacing for a while now. A prompt response from the developers would have helped the game secure a better future.

However, nothing is lost forever, and the developers can still make amends by issuing an apology to their player base and urging them to come back to the game; otherwise, the game will never be able to attract players anymore.

The game has been seeing a consistent fall in the number of players, and if the big issues are not addressed promptly, that number could very well reach 0.
