Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Controller Is the Future

Razer has called the ‘Wolverine V3 Pro’ line, the V3 Pro and Tournament edition as the future of controllers for pros and brings the speed and precision of an Esports mice to controllers. Moreover, it features better back paddle positioning, pro hyper triggers with full trigger pull and mouse click, trigger stop lock, hall effect thumbstick with anti-drift accuracy with “unmatched longevity and performance,” and grip bumpers for quick access to key actions.

The controller is also Razer’s first wireless Xbox controller and comes with a hyperspeed wireless dongle support. The Wolverine V3 Pro is optimized for both traditional and claw grip styles and has tactile action buttons and D-Pad with 3 million tap life-cycle and 0.65 mm actuation distance.

The Controller Has Full Customization and is Esports Ready

The controller is tournament ready and comes with a tournament mode, allowing players to unlock 1000Hz polling rate for competitive wired play. It also features full customization for Xbox that will let players assign functions to keys as they wish.

There is also thumbstick sensitivity configuration feature and players can customize vibration strength as well. The incentive of getting the controller is that it comes with a carrying case, braided cable, and interchangeable thumbstick caps but the Tournament Edition only comes with a braided cable.

The Wolverine V3 Pro is now out worldwide and is available for $199.99/£199.99 or €229.99. The Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition that is designed for the pros will be available to buy in Q3 this year and will cost $99.99/£99.99 or €119.99.

The difference between the V3 Pro and V3 Tournament Edition are few. The V3 Pro offer wireless and wired connectivity both and V3 Tournament Edition is only wired. The grip of the V3 Pro is rubberized texture whereas the V3 Tournament Edition has plastic textured grip.
