“I don’t know if you’ve seen the last of…”: Nolan North Teases His Return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Black Ops 6 is scheduled to be released in the next few months and on various platforms. The fans are excited to see where the developers will take the franchise next, and expectations are high after the recent hints of one voice actor’s potential involvement.
The campaigns of the more recent installments have been lacklustre at best; however, Treyarch and Raven Software worked together for the latest installment of the Black Ops era, and it could set the franchise back on the right track. There is a possibility that this year’s entry will feature the return of one iconic villain.
Black Ops 6 Could Feature One Iconic Villain of the Franchise
Activision spent years working on the franchise and prioritized seeing it grow. The gaming community is eager to see where the combined efforts of two developers will take this year’s entry. While waiting for the next preview, prolific voice actor Nolan North described the trailer as mind-blowing, and fans are going to have to take his word for it.
While North did not get into details about when this mind-blowing trailer will drop, the gaming community is on high alert for that next trailer. North subtly hinted at his involvement after refusing to answer a question from the audience in this year’s entry and could be making a comeback during a panel.

North is known to be enthusiastic and has been around the game industry for quite some time. North worked on plenty of popular gaming franchises like Uncharted, The Last of Us, God of War, and many more. He is quite familiar with how things are run and how game developers operate. Perhaps he will reprise his role as the sadistic Doctor Richtofen in the latest entry.
There is a strong likelihood that North’s character will not be the only iconic villain making a comeback. Recent rumors claim that Raul Menendez, the main villain of Black Ops 2, will be featured in the game, and it is unknown to what extent.
North Could Be Letting on More Than He Knows to Protect the Call of Duty Community
North did mention near the tail end of his answer that the gaming community has not seen the last of the German doctor. There is a slim chance that his character may not appear in this year’s installment but could make an appearance in future projects.
Regardless if the voice actor is being coy with the audience, North knows more than he is letting on. The character has been underutilized for quite some time and the developers could be setting up an impressive story arc based on the brief description and blow the fans away.
Fans were captivated by North’s performance and are begging for more. Treyarch and Raven Software may have been working on a decent story to find a way to factor in the sadistic doctor and tie it into the campaign.
North described the upcoming trailers as mind-blowing; perhaps this could be a hint of his character’s involvement and his subtle confirmation. Nevertheless, the gaming community will still support the game and the franchise as a whole.
