Animated Series, New Agent or Console Launch Date, Valorant Fans Can’t Decide Over the New Announcement
For a significant amount of time, Valorant had been going through a rough phase. Be it toxic players, ground-breaking glitches, or huge disparities between the console and the PC version of the game, the game has suffered a lot.
Then came the lifesaving Patch 9.02, which has already solved a lot of persisting issues in the game. After all these sufferings, the game is on its track yet again to achieve the crown. Amidst this exciting time, there’s another announcement, which would make the excitement level boundless.
Valorant Teases a New Cinematic Premiere
Every time a new episode takes entry in Valorant, there’s always been hype regarding the cinematic of that chapter. Episode 9 is not an exception as well. After all the excitement and hype, Riot has finally announced the new cinematic premiere via a tweet.

In this post, there’s a link, upon clicking which, gets redirected to the official YouTube channel of the game. The all-new cinematic is set to premiere on August 2 at 8 pm PT on that channel.
The name of this new cinematic is ‘INCURSION Imminent’ The company has also mentioned in the caption, “Stay tuned, stay sharp.” In that post, Riot has teased the announcement with an image where we can see two Jetts standing one after another, with the former one having a Vandal in her hands and the latter one on her back.
Seeing this picture, it’s quite evident that this cinematic is going to focus on the game’s lore. Also, the name says it all: there is a severe incursion bound to happen very soon. Seeing both the image and the title, we are probably going to see a multiversal battle practice soon.
Fans Are Going Gaga Over the Teaser
Every cinematic in the game so far has come with a unique announcement or teaser of an upcoming aspect. For example, Judgement, the cinematic of the previous episode, revealed Omen’s past. The 2 Worlds cinematic in the previous episodes’s Act 2 unveiled the latest agent of the game, Clove.
This time too, fans are waiting for some banger from INCURSION Imminent. One fan is wondering if this upcoming cinematic might be a way to announce a new agent. Is that agent going to be an alien?
