Black Ops 6 Reportedly Features at Least 6 Remastered Maps, Including One We’ve Been Desperate About for Years

Long-time series fans are looking at Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to revive the franchise. Especially after 2023’s Modern Warfare 3, fans would argue that now might be the best time for Treyarch to facilitate the series’ redemption.

So far, the game’s subject matter looks as controversial as any other game in the Black Ops subseries, and fans are relatively happy about it. Additionally, there might be more good news in store, as rumors of six remastered maps have recently come to light.

6 Remastered Maps, Including Fringe and Nuketown, May Be Coming to Black Ops 6

Black Ops 6 seems precisely what the franchise needs after fans’ hostile response to Modern Warfare 3. The latter had a lackluster offering in every gamemode and what microtransaction practices that have become way too commonplace for the franchise.

Soon after, it was rumored that the upcoming game would also radically change the series formula, which had a mixed response. Another rumor about the game has recently surfaced on X:

Fans React to Rumors of Remastered Maps Coming to Black Ops 6

Activision’s premier FPS video game series has stood the test of time and has been around for over two decades. Recently, fans have been critical of the game losing their identity and complained that the developers were making the recent games closer to the likes of Fortnite.

However, rumors of such iconic maps coming back to the series have ramped up the excitement among fans:
