Yellow Emma Wiggle headband recalled over choking risk

An urgent recall has been issued for a popular item of Wiggles merchandise over serious safety fears.

The iconic children’s entertainment group, which sells a wide range of children’s toys and dress-ups, has fallen foul of Product Safety Australia which has warned consumers to stop using the product immediately and keep it out of reach of children.

The government regulator has warned the group’s yellow Emma Wiggle headband poses a risk of choking, serious injury or death for young children.

The headband features a bow that lights up and does not have the required warning information.

Product Safety Australia also says “the button/coin batteries may not be adequately secured and may be accessible by young children”.

Consumers can Contact CA Australia on [email protected] or call 02 9938 5011 to arrange for a free return and full refund.
