Even XDefiant’s Biggest Fans Think the Game Is a Goner With Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Releasing

XDefiant has been significantly losing its player base due to bad playing conditions amidst many bugs in the game. The game was released not very long ago, and it has only been a few months since it came out, but its future seems to be drowning in a sea of uncertainty.

Due to a significant loss in the player base, some of the fans of the game are arguing about its fate after the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. There is a lot of uncertainty about whether or not it will be able to co-exist with Black Ops 6.

There isn’t much reason left for fans of XDefiant to continue playing the game, as the netcode bug has been the most prominent issue with the game consistently, and the developers have also failed to address the same, which makes players feel that they are not being heard.

However, even some of the remaining fans are confused about the future of the game, as the shortcomings are on the surface and no work or reassuring has been provided in the direction of fixing these issues.

This comes as a major cause for concern, as XDefiant has fallen victim to negligence from its developers, and with the arrival of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, it is likely going to suffer a huge blow to its already falling player base.

It can be speculated that for at least a couple of months, XDefiant will be looking at next-to-nothing traffic on it before things begin to normalize again.

Nevertheless, it is fair to say that not many people enjoy Call of Duty’s recent multiplayer apart from Warzone, and that could be a defining factor in keeping XDefiant alive, but it would still need to redefine itself a lot for people to believe in the game again.

XDefiant Might Survive Black Ops Release

It is still not certain that XDefiant will be completely wiped out of the world, as it still has some loyal players who do not seem to care as much about the questionable live support and minimal updates.

However, Ubisoft should see this as a wake-up call and pull up its sleeves to work on the game. Many players who have left the game have complained about zero contact from the developers. Ubisoft needs to address these problems and deliver results promptly in the future for the game to survive.

If immediate action is not taken and bug fixes are not made shortly, then it will be really difficult for XDefiant to retain its player base after the release of Black Ops 6, and there will be no coming back from it.
