Pokemon Go’s Hits Yet Another Stumbling Block as the Community Continues to Turn

The Pokémon GO community faithfully follows all of Niantic’s constant releases in the game. However, sometimes the studio doesn’t seem to understand what the players want when launching a new event or other additional content on a weekly basis.

In the latest Research Day event for the title, users expressed dissatisfaction with the creatures selected. Many players apparently wanted to see Tyrunts again, a Pokémon that hatches from a fossil that would have been ideal for this particular event.

The Most Recent Pokémon Go Research Day Disappoints Fans

One of the main attractions of this type of game, as with any live service game, is the various limited-time events offered to keep the community active.

Pokémon GO Adventure Week is one of those limited-time events that requires fans to collect the famous fossils of these creatures in order to obtain a very rare and hard-to-find Pokémon. The suggestions of the players are being overlooked by the studio.

In recent Reddit posts, several players of this popular title have expressed their dissatisfaction with the latest event, in which a particular Pokémon was missing and was a fan favorite.

Despite coming from a fossil, like many outstanding franchise representatives, Tyrunts was not considered for this event. The entire community suggested to Niantic that they add the possibility of obtaining this rare specimen, but the studio seemingly ignored it.

Tyrunts Will Have to Be Caught Another Time

Many Pokemon Go players began sharing their opinions about what this event means and all the variations it includes. One of the most important features appears to be the high chance of capturing shiny Pokémon.

Many players indicated that the event was much more enjoyable with Tyrunts as one of the possible rare captures. The comments on these posts included a lengthy list of complaints.

Some users reported spotting this Pokémon in specific regions. However, the majority of users stated that obtaining this Pokémon is nearly impossible without participating in one of the sporadic events Niantic organizes within the game.

The community exchanged all kinds of suggestions and opinions about this particular event, as well as how many of the best creatures are obtained through eggs.

Despite its release over 8 years ago in 2016, Pokémon GO remains highly relevant. This title revolutionized the world of mobile games, attracting players from all over the world to try it when it first came out.

The community for this popular title hopes that the studio will listen more to player suggestions in future events to at least have a chance to capture their favorite Pokémon.
