40-year-old Christopher George Turney was booked into the Escambia County Jail Saturday. He is charged with child cruelty and child neglect.

He was released on bond Sunday, according to jail records.

Frito-Lay distribution center coming to Prichard

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Turney has been terminated.
