Escalation of Freedom Is Now Available, and Arrowhead Game Studios Is Extremely Attentive to Any Issues That May Arise
Released in February this year, Helldivers 2 surprised everyone with its unexpected popularity, making it one of the most popular games of 2024.
Unfortunately, in recent weeks, fans were not very satisfied with the game because they felt it was incredibly repetitive. Additionally, the most important mechanics, such as the Major Order, did not satisfy the community with their rewards.
To please the players, Arrowhead Game Studios finally released a large-scale free update that adds all kinds of improvements to the game. Escalation of Freedom is now available.

The studio anticipated being especially attentive to stability concerns with this update. On the other hand, it also said that it would be open to any suggestions and notifications on social media about this content.
The Helldivers 2 Hotfix is Pretty Much a Reality
The studio’s CEO, Shams Jorjani, announced that the game’s most ambitious update to date is now available and suggested that players report any performance issues they see.
Helldivers 2 will receive a quick hotfix to fix any arising issues. The idea is that the community can focus on enjoying this new content without any major problems arising.
Fans’ initial complaints about seemingly nerfed weapons were evident in the responses to Jorjani’s post. The most notable complaint was that the Flamethrower no longer does significant damage to enemies.
Other complaints stemmed from the fact that some enemies still behave strangely when navigating certain natural obstacles, such as rocks.
The Breaker Incendiary was another weapon that appears to have received a noticeable nerf. Its adjustment went from adding more recoil to reducing the number of bullets it can use in a single magazine.
The community will gradually adjust to these types of changes, and most complaints will surface a few days after players adjust to the new content. The studio finally made the change that fans wanted; we have to wait and see the what the result will be.
