Stray scampers its way to Switch in November

Back in June, it was revealed Stray, the once PlayStation exclusive beloved cat game developed by BlueTwelve Studio, was launching to the Nintendo Switch, capping off its console market coverage. At the time, all we had to go off of was a “Holiday 2024” window. Now, we know.

On the official Nintendo of America Twitter, it was revealed the game will be launching on November 19 to the console-handheld hybrid. Frankly, it seems like just your run-of-the-mill port, so by and large, out of the general excitement of taking your kitty game on the go, there’s not much to it.

Stray follows a cat who’s been separated from its feline friends and must venture through a highly advanced cybercity to make it back to the surface. The game itself is rather complex yet simple, with its main focus being how you basically just be a cat — rubbing on peoples’ legs, scratching furniture, taking naps, the whole shebang.

Stray is available now on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, with its Switch version out the door on November 19.
