A new Dragon Ball experience is coming soon

A new Dragon Ball game has been announced, and its test phase is happening soon. Dragon Ball Project: Multi is an upcoming game styled as a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena).

This will be the first-ever four-versus-four Dragon Ball experience, and it will be playable soon in its first regional test. Announced via a YouTube trailer on Bandai Namco’s channel, the regional test will start on August 20 and run until September 3. It will be available on iOS, Android devices, and Steam.

Based on the trailer, the test appears to offer at least nine different playable characters, including Zamasu, Trunks, Goku, Majin Buu, Krillin, Piccolo, Android 18, Vegeta, and Kid Gohan. Some characters also seem to be able to power up and transform, as Goku is shown turning Super Saiyan in the trailer.

Interestingly, the comments on the trailer have been disabled, and based on community feedback, it seems no one was expecting or asking for this type of game. It will be interesting to see how the regional test is received by the potential player base and whether the game will end up being pay-to-win, as many already anticipate.
