The Next Big Gundam-Like Experience is Already Winning Over Everyone

Mecha Break is a brand-new multiplayer game that allows players to take control of various devastating mechs and participate in PvP and co-op experiences alike. Ever since Seasun Games treated the entire gaming community with a reveal trailer back at The Games Awards 2023, everyone was hyped.

Many in the community doubted if Mecha Break will be able to live up to the high expectations. Currently, the game has an ongoing beta period, and it’s clear that not only the mecha game is phenomenal, but it’s also going to be the face of the mecha genre once it eventually debuts.

Gamers Are Loving Mecha Break and Can’t Wait For Full Release

It’s been a fantastic year for die-hard fans of the mecha genre. Last year, we were treated to the immensely popular Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon by well-known FromSoftware. This year, we have Gundam Breaker 4 and now the highly anticipated team-based mecha game, Mecha Break!

The Mecha Break limited access test period has finally kicked off with a bang, and the game has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from the entire gaming community! The mecha title is smashing all records known to games and even managed to reach 40,000 concurrent players on Steam!

Mecha Break puts players dead center in a chaotic mech action. That means finding yourself in the pilot’s seat of hulking metal tools of annihilation in modes like 6v6 Battlefield, 3v3 Arena, and a giant 60-player PvEvP option. The title features designs from various popular games, with players being able to further customize their mechs to their liking.

The fact that the game features mechs designed by professional designers and features next-gen graphics technology has the entire community in shock.

It’s truly remarkable to see that we finally have a mech game that brings what players have been desperate for ages. Let’s hope Season Games listens to player feedback and builds upon that to give us a game that becomes a generational success.

Mecha Break‘s limited access beta took place from August 2nd to 8th, which finally allowed gamers to dive into the game and experience it. The game will also have an open beta, scheduled from August 10th to August 13th, which will feature a wide number of changes and additions beyond what closed beta testers experienced!

Unfortunately, we still don’t have a full release date for the mech-based game. However, the title’s official trailer notes that the title will launch sometime in 2025.

It’s crucial to take even this release window with a grain of salt. The studio might bring new additions or changes based on beta feedback that could extend the game’s development period.

The game will be released on Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation, and PC. As of now, we still don’t know much about a Nintendo Switch launch, so you’ll need to play on one of the above systems to take part in the mech-based experience.
