FromSoft Need to Listen to Elden Ring Players as THAT Suggestion Creeps Up Once More, as Fans Wonder Why We’ve Yet to See 1 Mechanic Sekiro Had Years Ago

Elden Ring is the pinnacle of the Soulslike genre and the gaming community is enamored with the intense combat pioneered by director Hidetaka Miyazaki. The franchise nurtured a generation of players and advocated for self-improvement through hard work and persistence to ascend the ranks of great Soulslike players.

The developers may have cracked the code to develop the perfect Soulslike game; however, the player base believes there is always room for improvement. For years, the gaming community suggested a new feature where they can replay boss fights whenever they please without rushing through a lengthy campaign.

The Gaming Community Is Still Holding out Hope for a Boss Rush Mode in Elden Ring

FromSoftware crafted the perfect strategy for developing engaging games that encourage the players to plan before making any moves. The game developers wanted to be inclusive and somehow a pet goldfish beat the final boss in Elden Ring. PointCrow wanted to prove that the large chunk of the player base that often complains about the difficulty is not trying hard enough.

The gaming community grew up with the Soulslike franchise and has seen it improve with each project. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was hailed as Game of the Year during The Game Awards in 2019 and it featured a unique game mode that appealed to the player base and should have been carried over to all succeeding games.

If you could add one feature, what would it be?

Hardcore fans discussed among themselves and shared ideas of new features that could benefit the latest entry in the Soulslike franchise. Fans missed the convenience of replaying a boss fight without creating a new save file and going through other enemies to satisfy their thirst for that same old feeling.

Players are drawn to the heart-pounding thrill of facing imminent danger and relish the opportunity to test their skills against formidable bosses. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki wanted to impart valuable lessons to the community regarding the hardships and trials in life, his games represent the worst to come but players can escape the situations they are in if they work for it.

It would be nice if the developers of FromSoftware would listen to community suggestions from time to time and it could benefit from these ideas. Not everyone is interested in replaying the entirety of a hard game just to beat one specific boss and it would be for the best to allow players to play the game however they wish.

Adding a boss rush feature in Elden Ring will encourage the gaming community to revisit their favorite bosses, leading to longer playing sessions. Some players are begging for a faster way to start a rematch and use all their newfound knowledge and skill to test their mettle.

The Elden Ring Expansion Could Have Included the Highly-Requested Boss Rush Mode

The thrill of fighting a powerful boss to showcase everything a player has learned and gained is like the ultimate full-circle moment. Rather than the player struggling to beat the boss, it is now the other way around.

Miyazaki’s vision to encourage players to grind and work toward a better version of themselves is commendable. However, some players are after fast-paced action and the feeling of having great power.

Introducing a boss rush mode to the game would significantly enhance the overall entertainment value for players. This mode would also be an ideal platform for players to hone and refine their skills in confronting and overcoming increasingly challenging boss encounters.

The gaming community wants what’s best for the franchise. It would be a shame to disregard this highly requested feature. Would you like a boss rush mode in Elden Ring? Let us know in the comments section below!
