The Gameplay is Coming Thick and Fast and Some Call of Duty Fans are Worried They’re Not Good Enough

Black Ops 6 is scheduled to be released later this year on various gaming platforms and the player base has been given access to play the open beta. The game was developed by the joint force of Raven Software and Treyarch and their combined efforts have accumulated a new and ambitious movement system.

The multiplayer lobbies will likely be crowded on launch day as players are still on the ropes regarding the new improvements. However, if the initial reaction of the open beta is any indication, some casual players will likely end up as target practice for more competitive players.

The Omnidirectional Movement Could Be a Deal-Breaker for Black Ops 6 Players

Activision has invested a lot in this franchise and wants to see it succeed and stand out amidst the heavy competition in a gaming industry oversaturated with online multiplayer games. Players in the open beta are already struggling to keep up with enemy players who are already well accustomed to the Omnimovement in Black Ops 6 which will likely push them to the limit.

The multiplayer lobbies have always been the bread and butter of the Call of Duty series, and the Omnidirectional movement could redefine the franchise’s future. Other players are worried that they will not have what it takes to keep up with the rest of the player base which could dissuade them from even trying, which is not ideal for a franchise with a loyal community.

There is a strong likelihood that Raven Software and Treyarch will tie new challenges with the Omnidirectional movement system which can be of great benefit. Players will exert more effort to learn the ropes and improve their skills. There is a short window of opportunity waiting for this innovative change in future instalments, but players are too afraid of the risk for good reason.

Other players are still skeptical about whether this ambitious movement system will function up to standard on launch day because it seems like a tall order and the developers could have bitten more than they could chew. Treyarch took the time to address the gaming community’s bug concerns, and it does seem like the developers have it locked down.

The gaming community will try its hardest on day one to assert dominance, and the best way to do that is by learning everything Omnimovement has to offer, the benefits, disadvantages, flaws, and all. Players will likely act more aggressively toward each other and use their enemies as their prey.

In this game, players must hunt to avoid being hunted, creating a race to see who can adapt to the new system the fastest. The developers designed this new system hoping it would become a mainstay in the first-person shooter genre.

Warzone players will adjust their playstyle once the developers patch the game and add the Omnimovement system. Players will navigate their surroundings with the utmost caution knowing enemies can now dive in front of them and unload a full magazine.

The short clip featured a player diving out of a second floor no scoping an enemy. Perhaps this will be this generation’s 360 no-scope to keep up with the times.
