Take Notes Arrowhead, A Simple Cosmetic Change Has Helldivers 2 Players on Cloud 9 Proving the GameĀ isĀ NotĀ Dead
Helldivers 2 is a massive triumph from Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment. The online multiplayer experience has brought together the player bases of the PlayStation 5 and the PC platform as they fought to defend Super Earth and her citizens from the horrors of the Second Galactic War.
The game has run into issues lately and some players are losing interest. Fortunately, Arrowhead Game Studios is resilient and the latest change, albeit minor and not groundbreaking, gave the community hope.
The Gaming Community Is Still Betting on Helldivers 2 to Bounce Back
The developers of Arrowhead Game Studios have been reeling from the past major controversies and backlash which is becoming more dominant and noticeable in the gameās quality. Amidst all the issues, some players still find ways to amuse themselves and make their experience much more thrilling like using only 21 throwing knives to destroy a Factory Strider in complete stealth.
The gaming community will take anything as a shred of hope and the developers are biding their time but wanted to remind the fans that better days are ahead. Fans can be critical and nitpicky for good reason, they wanted an experience worth playing and remembering and little things like an unbalanced cape can be an eyesore for some until the developers fixed it a while ago.
Fans were bothered by the logo being slightly offset in the middle of the cape and it took the developers a while to fix it. Some fans will take this as a sign of improvement and growth; however, this is a perfect situation to encourage the developers to add a feature where players can remove their capes at any given time.

Arrowhead Game Studios released a statement not too long ago and wants to assure the player base that change is coming in the next 60 days as the developers shift their focus to address more pressing issues like performance. Game development can take a toll, especially when working on a high-profile live service game like this with unrealistically high expectations causing some internal panic and issues.
Cosmetic items like capes may not mean much to the average player but the fact the developers exerted effort to address one minor issue for the community speaks volumes. Arrowhead Game Studios is not perfect and plans to win back the favor of the gaming community through little things like updating the aesthetics of the pods in the latest Helldivers 2 update.
The War for Keeping Helldivers 2 Alive Is Still Waging on and Players Are Doing Their Part
Capes symbolize a playerās unwavering loyalty to protect and serve the citizens of Super Earth. The developers must realize that players take their roles seriously and it is important to look the part of a soldier fighting in an intergalactic war against hostile alien forces.
Other players were able to mock up a new cape design taking inspiration from the Chaosdivers; however, it also reminded the player base of the promise made by Arrowhead Game Studios about a new Helldivers 2 cape commemorating the PlayStation Network fiasco. Cosmetic items can bring a community together.
The struggle to keep the game afloat amidst the fierce competition and technical drawbacks can take a toll. Little efforts like readjusting the cape are a testament to the developersā dedication. Helldivers 2 had a great run in the first few months after launch and fans are hoping for more of those days ahead. Perhaps this is the first of many improvements coming.
