Game Modes Details and Pre-Order Bonus

In addition to the roster reveal, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero developers provided additional information on the various game modes. Starting with Episode Battles, this game mode will allow players to experience the perspectives of 8 different characters and participate in some of the most iconic battles in the anime. The eight characters include Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Future Trunks, Frieza, Goku Black and Jiren. Moreover, there will be different routes and hidden scenes on certain stages.

Next is Custom Battle Mode, which includes the battle itself, the battle title, and a post-battle cutscene. Players can also find a bonus battles section in this mode where the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero developers have prepared over 30 battles with original situations and victory conditions.

Last up is Edit Mode, where you can completely customise how a battle will play out and make it playable for the community. Players can customise pre-battle and post-battle cutscenes, special endings, character position, pose, expression, and effects. They can also adjust subtitles for speakers, camera work, background music, and screen effects such as monochrome and sepia.

Lastly, players who pre-order Dragon Ball Sparking Zero can claim the Goku Daima variant as a new playable character. The gameplay trailer for this character will be revealed later.
