Johan Pilestedt Promises to Solve “Rather embarrassing” Helldivers 2 Bug

Since the launch, Helldivers 2 has made a special place in everyone’s hearts. Its Major Orders and exciting co-op multiplayer gameplay have made this game a huge success. However, after a few days, the game started to face the real world.

The game began to face huge technical issues like bugs and glitches. Later on, a huge backlash came from people after the controversy surrounding its PSN account linking. But after the latest patch update, things are again on track as this update has fixed almost all the persisting issues. Still, there is one issue that has to be fixed. However, the CCO of the development company has your back.

Helldivers 2‘s Shield Generator Melee Invincibility Bug Will Be Fixed Soon

There is a new bug that has been seen after the recent Patch 1.001.100. In this bug, the fan-favorite SH-32 Shield Generator Pack was the center of attraction. This bug made the backpack strategy so powerful that it accidentally granted invincibility against the melee attacks from the in-game creatures to all the Helldivers who were using it.

However, these packs are found only in General Brasch’s personal stash and are reserved for 10-star generals only, as per the latest patch notes. It also stated, “The workers at the distribution center have been sent to re-education camps, and regular shields will resume distribution.”

Now, the CCO of Arrowhead Game Studios, Johan Pilestedt, assured that the development company is aware of the “rather embarrassing” bug and will resolve it ASAP.

He also stated that the Jump Pack might be buffed in the upcoming patch. There you go! The latest patch will be out for a week, and we are getting teased about the next patch. 

Fans Are Bit Sad for the First Time That a Bug Will be Removed

When we see the developing company of any game is swift in fixing bugs, fans become the first ones to be relieved. But in this scenario, things are a bit different.

Unlike other bugs, this one lets you stand without a single scratch, amidst a horde of Terminids, until a Bile Titan shows up and crushes under its feet. Although that big giant is also now one shot down from a Thermite Grenade, so that won’t be a problem anymore.

People don’t want this bug to be removed, as it is saving Helldivers in the game.

This weird bug has made a fanbase as it made their lives easy. However, just like every other bug, this will be fixed pretty soon. And this has been confirmed by Pilestedt himself.
