Juveniles cause thousands in damages after vandalism at South Park in Oshkosh
OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating several vandalism complaints at South Park in Oshkosh.
According to a release, officers received information that several juveniles had damaged property in public restrooms by graffitiing the walls, floors, and fixtures. Fixing this damage is estimated to cost several thousands of dollars.

The suspects were recorded on video surveillance cameras, and officers are working diligently to identify the individuals involved with the complaints.
Video surveillance cameras are located throughout Oshkosh’s parks and greatly assist with identifying those who break the law.
“Parks are meant to enhance the quality of life for everyone in our community – a place where people can enjoy nature, relax, and create long-lasting memories,” said Public Affairs Officer Kate Mann with the Oshkosh Police Department. “We strongly urge parents to remind children to respect property and that repairs to fix damaged items can be very costly.”
The Oshkosh Police Department asks the public to report any suspicious activity around the park.
