Many of WA’s peak sporting bodies are already complying with the Federal Government’s new National Gender Equity in Sport Governance Policy, which mandates that by July 2027, half of directors in national and State sports bodies must be women and/or gender diverse.
Organisations that don’t comply risk having existing funding pulled and can forget about access to new dollars.
