Helldivers 2 Boss Claims Flying Terminids Rumor is Propaganda from ‘Traitors’

Helldivers 2 just keeps on getting by every pacing day. As it has been said a number of times before, the developers of this game have been at the top of all the issues fans have faced over time. They have worked pretty hard on the servers when the concurrent players of this title went way beyond what they had expected. Another good thing about Arrowhead Game Studios is that they are always available to hear what their fans have to say.

But there are not always problems or technical issues with Helldivers 2. The studio at Arrowhead Game Studios gladly jokes around with fans when the time comes. And even clear the air on any rumors that might surround the game. Just like the most recent flying terminids rumor.

Helldivers 2 is an ever-evolving game. The people working behind the curtains on this game have assured that players who invest time in it get their time’s worth at all times. They even assigned a game master called Joel for this purpose. His only job is to keep things interesting and challenging for gamers.

The result has been somewhat mixed; fans have been getting somewhat agitated as the game sometimes gets difficult out of nowhere. This kind of change has also made fans lose one of the most important strongholds in the game. It does not look like fans will ever forget the loss of Malevelon Creek anytime soon.

But this does not mean that the developers only make playing the game a challenge for their fans. They also keep on adding new gameplay mechanics, new equipment, and new features to the game to make it a fair exchange. As it gets harder, gamers get new stuff for their games.

The biggest examples of these new additions are the mechs and the NPC summons that will be coming to Helldivers 2 sometime in the future. NPC summons would let players bring in a bunch of AI-controlled Helldivers in the game and use them as backup, and mechs would be newly added equipment that players would get into and control.

Now that all this has passed, a big concern has risen inside the Helldivers 2 community. Rumors have started coming in that maybe Arrowhead Game Studios will be adding new kinds of bugs to Helldivers 2. They suggest these bugs would be able to fly and make the lives of gamers a living hell.

For gamers unaware, Helldivers 2 has two primary enemy factions: the Automatons and the Terminids. Automatons are basically a bunch of armored robots that come in all shapes and sizes. On the other hand, Terminids are a bunch of insects; these too come in different shapes and sizes. Some of them are, in fact, mammoth in size. Adding a new kind of flying terminid would surely complicate things.

But as usual, the CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios is his jolly self. When he got wind of this rumor, he decided to react to it in a very interesting and funny way.

This reply is evidently poking fun at this rumor, but it does not legitimately make it clear if a new kind of enemy is on the way to the game or not. It looks like fans would have to wait for that confirmation a little longer.

On the other hand, Helldivers 2’s Xbox port is nowhere to be seen

While fans cannot stop worrying about this new threat, there are some who are eagerly awaiting the Xbox port of this popular co-op game. There has not been any confirmation from Sony or Arrowhead Game Studios about this port as of yet.

But Xbox boss Phil Spencer has hinted that this game coming to Xbox consoles would not harm anyone. It makes sense, too; lately, Microsoft has been trying hard to diminish the boundaries of exclusivity between platforms by bringing their exclusives to the competition.
