How To Upgrade Swordfighter Form

After defeating Dark Link in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Princess Zelda acquires the ability to use her Swordfighter Form. This unique way of playing the game makes things combat-heavy and helps you defeat all kinds of monstrosities that have taken over Hyrule. It also adds a twist to the otherwise relaxed puzzle-solving the game is all about.

However, the ability will feel a bit weak at first and grows powerful as you upgrade it during your playthrough. There are certain things to keep in mind before doing so, and visiting Lueberry’s House is going to be an integral part of it. Do note that there’s no particular order in which you need to buy these upgrades. Feel free to choose them based on your playstyle.

Where to Find Lueberry’s House

Make sure you interact with the Waypoint marked next to the house. This will let you teleport to the place in the future.

Lueberry’s House is a place you’ll be visiting often in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and it’s towards the northeast of Suthorn Village. There’s a Waypoint located right next to the house, and you can teleport to this point any time you wish during your open world adventures.

The location will be marked by a little sword icon, but you won’t be able to teleport to this place directly unless you first interact with a Waypoint next to it.

You will stumble upon this location after defeating Dark Link, and progressing through the story by default. There are many important story bits to be found here, which tie Princess Zelda’s narrative to everything that’s been going on. Lueberry is particularly useful when it comes to your Swordfighter Form, and helps you with relevant upgrades.

Once you’re inside the house, speak to Lueberry if you haven’t upgraded your Swordfighter Form before. If you have, then simply walk towards the large machine on the right, and repeat the process by speaking to Lueberry and choosing which upgrade you’d like to go for.

You obtain Might Crystals by progressing the story and doing side quests.

To acquire any kind of upgrade from Lueberry, you need to spend Might Crystals. You earn these throughout your gameplay, and have the option to spend it no upgrading your sword and energy. Both of these are key components of your Swordfighter Form.

Upgrading your sword will result in more attack power, showing its worth during boss battles and complex encounters with enemies. On the other hand, upgrading your energy will help you stay in your Swordfighter Form for a longer duration.

Deciding which upgrade to go for is completely up to you. It’s preferable to have a larger energy bar if you intend on using the Swordfighter Form strategically, and let echoes fight for you alongside. But, if you wish to take matters into your own hands, then maximizing your attack power is the way to go.
