Saber Interactive’s Next Project Is The PERFECT Game To Make Use Of Space Marine 2’s Best Mechanic

Announced back at The Games Award 2021, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is the follow-up to a 2011 release, and gamers simply can’t get enough of this phenomenal sequel. Ever since its release, Space Marine 2 has absolutely smashed all records and set new highs for the developer Saber Interactive.

Currently, it stands as the fastest-selling game in the developers’ catalog, and that’s all down due to it pushing the boundaries and taking risks with features we’d never seen before. One of these features is so revolutionary that it must be given priority in Saber’s upcoming project.

Space Marine 2‘s Swarm Technology Must be Featured in Next Saber Interactive Project

Space Marine 2 elevates the original game by bringing gamers much larger and more intense battles. One of the key features that has allowed for these new depths is “Swarm Technology.”

The game’s use of this feature allowed it to include large-scale battles with Tryanids, which players can’t get enough of. It was first implemented in the World War Z game and brought coordinated group behaviors and independent AI-driven actions. With Space Marine 2, Saber improved this feature and brought us a fun combat experience.

Currently, Saber is working on its next project, Jurassic Park: Survival. It was initially announced during The Game Award 2023, with a teaser showcasing some gripping moments that happened after the events of the 1993 Jurassic Park film and alpha in-game footage. After the developers’ recent success with the Warhammer 40k franchise, gamers can’t wait to see what it will do to the iconic Jurassic Park experience.

If Saber really wants to do justice to the Jurassic Park game, it must import its Swarm Technology from the Space Marine sequel. The developer can create realistic dinosaur group behaviors such as coordinated stampedes, hunting, and AI responses to player actions.

The feature can enable combat and escape scenarios with dinosaurs, replicating the iconic scenes from the movie, all while making gameplay immersive and more unpredictable.

Space Marine 2 is the Biggest Success Story of the Year

Considering the impact Space Marine 2 has left on the gaming industry, it makes sense for Saber to use it as a guiding light for its future projects. Right from its debut, it’s been loved by critics and gamers alike. It managed to reach a peak of 225,900 players within 24 hours of release.

As of now, it’s the most downloaded and played Warhammer 40k game on Steam and beats all entries in the series by a long shot. Most of the reviews on Steam are also positive, just proving how it’s one of the biggest hits of the year.

Unlike other developers in the gaming industry, Saber took the time to refine the game and pay close attention to even the smallest aspect. This has played right into the game’s success.

Fans agree that the Space Marine successor is a massive leap in terms of gameplay, graphics, and sound experience. The cherry on top is that developers already have plans to carry forward this momentum with tons of post-launch additions that will shake up the same.

With the game’s success, a potential sequel on the horizon, and Henry Cavill’s involvement in the franchise, the future’s looking bright for Saber.
