Blaine woman admits sexually assaulting 2 teen hockey players in Roseville hotel
A Blaine woman has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting two 15-year-old hockey players from Colorado at a hotel in Roseville.
Allison Schardin, 39, entered a guilty plea on Friday to a 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct charge on Friday, with a charge of 4th-degree criminal sexual conduct dropped as part of the plea deal.
According to the criminal complaint, Schardin met the victims at a Roseville hotel room on Jan. 14. Both boys were part of a hockey team visiting from Colorado, with Schardin meeting them in the hotel’s hot tub, where she told them about her marital problems.

The charges say that later that night, she had messaged one of the boys on Snapchat and asked him to come to her room. Once inside, Schardin asked two of the boys sexual questions and how old they were, remarking that they were “young enough to be her kids,” according to the complaint.
Schardin then allegedly had sexual contact with the two boys, with one victim stating she had been “insistent” on having sex.
She texted one of the victims the next day and asked where they were playing hockey before showing up to the rink a short time later. The boys all became nervous at her attempts to follow them, with one victim saying: “It was really creepy.”
Once the team had returned to Colorado, Schardin continued to text the two victims, asking one of them not to contact the police.
Police were finally notified of the incident on Jan. 22, and Schardin was arrested on Feb. 1, telling police that she had gone to the hotel for a “stay‐cation” with her family.
Her next court appearance will be on Jan. 10 at 9 a.m.
