Action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty crosses 5 million
Team Ninja’s action RPG, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, has surpassed five million players since its launch back in March 2023. This comes right before the launch of its next game — Rise of the Ronin.
Over on Twitter (via GamingBolt), the official account shared the good news. Based on DeepL translation (since Twitter refuses to translate it at the time of writing), the post is mostly just a “thank you” from the dev team for joining them on the journey. It gives no indicators of what the future is for the franchise, but with Rise of the Ronin on the horizon, we’re sure Team Ninja just has a lot on its plate right now.
As it stands, the game has a healthy dose of content with DLC and armor sets alongside collabs with other notable games like Lies of P, all of which can be purchased when bundled into the Complete Edition package. In terms of the future, it sounds like there are no plans to make a sequel to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, so really, fans just have to make the best of it.
We don’t have much time to wait to see the studio’s next action RPG, at least, with Rise of the Ronin dropping next week on March 22.
