‘Speed dating’ and survey results may help South West organisations crack the code with young volunteers

A student-led survey has found balancing school work is the main barrier stopping young people from volunteering as organisations try to find new ways to connect students.

A “speed-dating” event was held at Manea Senior College on Thursday, connecting 18 students with six organisations with the aim of working out how to better attract more young people to volunteer.
