Of course, we have also revealed all of the answers for today’s Connections puzzle at the end, so if the hints are not helping either, you can simply just head down to the solutions and save yourself some headache to prepare for tomorrow’s challenge.

Some Connections puzzles can be quite tough to solve, so if the hints above have not really made things clear, today’s word groups should help simplify them even further:

New York Times Connections Answers Today for October 30
If you have tried your best and still not succeeded, there is not any need to worry, as we have listed down the answers below to make today’s Connections puzzle a breeze to solve:
- Upswing: Boom, Rise, Spike, Surge
- Things With Wheels: Dolly, Rollerblade, Skateboard, Wagon
- Kinds of Tape: Duct, Electrical, Gaffer, Packing
- Retail Chains With a Letter Changed: Best Boy, Idea, Kroner, Stables
While the Yellow group was mostly quite straightforward today, the inclusion of Surge in the category could have been confusing because of its contextual relationship with Electrical.
Similarly, the Blue category was not really that hard to figure out either, as three out of the four words naturally fit into the group, except for Dolly, of course, because that could refer to plenty of other things as well.
It is not exactly a surprise that the Purple group was the most difficult category to fill out today, as although Best Boy very clearly refers to the retail chain, it would not have been easy to realize that the other words were talking about Ikea, Kroger, and Staples.
But that is what makes Connections such a fun game to play, as every day brings a new challenge for dedicated players to complete, so if you were not able to solve today’s puzzle, there is always tomorrow.
And if that gives you trouble as well, rest assured that we will have yet another guide waiting for you. However, if you did achieve success with today’s Connections puzzle, many congratulations!
