Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
This is a quick guide on how to beat Nathan in the Zombies game mode of Black Ops 6. The game developers went above and beyond for this year’s entry and did not disappoint with a wide array of enemy variety and upping the stakes with terrifying boss fights like Nathan, the brother of Maya Aguinaldo.
The undead can be stressful to handle let alone elite variants in a cramped environment. From a character design standpoint, Nathan is the stuff of nightmares and is backed by a horde of lesser zombies; however, players have a decent chance of survival with the right strategy and gear.
How to Beat Nathan in Black Ops 6?
Nathan is no different from the average zombie; however, it is a much bigger, sturdier, and deadlier threat. A group of players can unload everything and unleash hell on the boss by aiming at certain parts that illuminate which are his weak spots. Call of Duty players should be coordinated and have a decent plan of attack before starting a fight against bigger threats.
The arena will be cramped, and Nathan will be backed up by a horde. Players must do their best to focus their firepower on the main boss and distract the smaller variants with any equipment at their disposal like decoy grenades. Zombies can be lured away by throwing decoy grenades in farther parts of the arena to buy team members enough time to inflict serious damage on Nathan.
Tip
Nathan can regenerate throughout the boss battle, and it is prudent for the squad to use all their heavy weaponry on the enemy boss.
If players are low on protection during the fight, they can grab extra armor plates off an Armored zombie after putting it out of its misery. The basic principle is to shoot Nathan until he drops. Focus on parts that emit bright yellow lights and equip high-powered weapons that can be determined by the color rarity system.
Players can transform into a Mangler using a Mutant Injection to deal heavy melee damage on Nathan. While other players can either distract the horde or inflict damage by shooting the glowing weak spots, the Mangler can hurt Nathan with each swing and take a few hits for the team.
Where to Find Nathan in Black Ops 6?
Players will eventually encounter Nathan around the Bio Lab at Terminus. Treyarch and Raven Software designed this boss battle to encourage a squad of players to strategize to defeat this boss with haste. Body shots can hurt the enemy boss but it will be a waste of ammunition and time, so it is best to look for the weak spots.
It is stressful to take on an enemy boss who can take enough damage and has the ability to heal over time. However, with the right weapons, equipment, and strategy, Nathan will not stand a chance.
Call of Duty players must learn to trust their allies to bide their time, avoid taking unnecessary risks, and stick to the plan.
While Nathan is not the hardest boss fight in Black Ops 6, it can still give players a run for their money. With the Mangler strategy, one member is responsible for dealing damage while taking Nathan’s attention away from the rest of the team and they can use stronger weapons to target the glowing weak spots. After a few good hits, Nathan will be put out of his misery.
