However, Nvidia’s decision to discontinue it was due to the company’s attempt to shift people’s focus towards the 40 series GPUs, which were being overlooked due to the successful run of 3060.

AMD, following in the footsteps of Nvidia, follows along the same narrative. It discontinued its best-selling budget GPU, the Radeon RX 6600. This GPU was on par with the RTX 3060; many people preferred the RX 6600 over the RTX 3050 and 3060.

Fans were devastated by the news of AMD shutting down its best-selling GPU.
