Call of Duty Expecting Players to Buy a Pointless Skin to a Black Ops 6 Accessory is Ungodly Greed
It seems Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 isn’t getting away with criticism. At first, it was the Omni-movement and launch maps. After that, the inconsistent TTK and TTD were also criticized heavily. Later on, it was found that there were no significant benefits of hitting a headshot in the game.
There is only one aspect that has gotten so much love from the fans, which is its campaign mission. However, things again went to the wire as Call of Duty recently launched the battle pass for Season 1, and fans don’t understand what to do with the throwable, which hardly gets noticed when thrown at the enemy.
Why Is There a Skin for a Concussion Grenade in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?
The first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has officially started, and in addition to new multiplayer maps and weapons, as well as the return of Warzone, players can now grind through a brand-new Battle Pass. Unlike the last few battle passes seen during the most recent Call of Duty entries, this new slate of items has a new structure and more than 100 pieces of content.
However, there is a skin for the Concussion Grenade as well, called La Petite. Fans have no clue whatsoever why we need to put a skin on an accessory that players won’t be able to notice in heated situations, and that’s exactly when you would want to use that throwable.
According to this fan, the developers wanted to increase the value of the bundle with this “fast and cheap approach”.
This fan is disappointed to see the downfall of the game.
Now, this fan has some real problems.
This fan couldn’t even see the difference between a normal grenade and a grenade having the La Petite skin.
On the other hand, this fan thinks there are only about “a dozen worthwhile” items in the battlepass, the rest are like the Concussion Grenade skin.
However, the most annoying fact about this skin is that you are not getting it through COD points, as from the previous titles, the battle pass has turned into BlackCell, which has to be bought with real money. Yes, after spending money on the BlackCell, you will be getting some really cool stuff. But getting just 10 weapon skins and 5 operators in a long 15-page battle pass is not worth it, as the rest are fillers. However, this is not the only hated skin in the game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1 Battle Pass – An Overview
The Sectors system that existed in Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 is not carried over into Black Ops 6. Rather, the new Page System is introduced in the game. Every page offers a number of incentives. A single page is initially accessible in the Battle Pass, and each additional page is unlocked following the claim of a predetermined number of items. Each item will be unlocked by players using Battle Pass Tokens.
Similar to a class Battle Pass, items will be unlocked in chronological order each time a token is obtained if the Auto Unlock feature is enabled. As long as the Page is unlocked, players can unlock items in any order as long as the Page is unlocked. The HVT reward is one item that is still in place from the Sectors system. When players finish a page, they immediately unlock this premium item.
Players who purchase the Battle Pass will receive 20 Tier Skips, 1,100 CoD Points, a Clan Tag, an exclusive Operator, and a Finishing Move. Every HVT Operator Skin and Weapon Blueprint will have a unique skin thanks to the BlackCell. A single BlackCell Instant Page Unlock Token is also included with the BlackCell, enabling players to select a locked page and access it without meeting any requirements.
