Space Marine 2 DLC Better Fix a Major Customization Flaw That’s Making Many Choose Ultramarines
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2’s launch took everyone by shock. Saber Interactive took the series’ established formula and evolved it to new heights that gamers simply can’t get enough of. It’s the biggest success story of the year, and it’s quite a shame that it isn’t contending for the Game of the Year Award 2024.
Saber has already confirmed that a plethora of new content will hit the game this December. This includes a new Dark Angels Chapter pack, new features, and changes to the game’s multiplayer modes.
All of this sounds quite incredible, but if this update doesn’t fix one of the biggest customization flaws of Space Marine 2, gamers might outright abandon the title.
Space Marine 2 Doesn’t Feature Basic Customization For Space Wolves
Space Marine 2 features more than 30 Chapters to choose from. Players have a wide range of customization options when it comes to their favorite Chapters in the game, with an abundance of decals and sigils related to these Chapters and a variety of colors that make each super soldier stand out from their brothers.
However, it seems like Saber hasn’t given Space Wolves the right treatment. Known for their Viking-inspired culture and lupine traits, these warriors excel in brutal close combat and have been a crucial part of the Warhammer 40k universe. Despite all that, Space Marine 2 doesn’t allow you to customize this Chapter and honor their legacy.
Space Marine 2 Space Wolf customization is really lacking

The lack of customization options for Space Wolves is absolutely mind-boggling, considering the fact that it’s one of the First Founding chapters in the Warhammer 40k universe. The Space Wolves don’t have a unique marking on their right shoulder pad. What’s worse is that they’re forced to use codex quad markings, which isn’t a thing in the actual lore.
Even the Blackmane icon is incorrectly marked as the Space Wolf icon. Let’s hope Saber takes notice of this fatal flaw with Space Wolves customization and immediately fixes it with the upcoming updates.
The developer is known for actively listening to the community and bringing necessary changes, so it won’t be long before we see it fixing this problem as well.
Saber Must Also Give Additional Customization With Next Space Marine 2 Update
In the world of Warhammer 40k, a helmet is a crucial piece to a Space Marine’s arsenal. It protects them from various threats on the battlefield and provides enhanced vision and targeting capabilities.
Space Marine 2 allows you to customize this armor piece in various different ways. However, it still doesn’t feature the legendary red Sergeant helmet. If you’re unaware, in Warhammer lore, red helmets indicate a special rank within Chapters. It separates the best from the ordinary.
That’s not all; the game still doesn’t allow you to customize the lens colors of helmets. As of now, players can only switch between green and red, which hinders the ability for players to make Space Marines truly their own super soldiers.
Adding a brand-new helmet and enhancing its customization options can really go a long way and help Saber gain the appreciation of the Space Marine 2 community.
