Genshin Impact reveals details about the Springtime Charms event

The Springtime Charms event is here in Genshin Impact, running from January 24th to February 9th. This seasonal celebration unlocks a range of activities, including Immortal Combat, Drills by Lamplight, Custom Gift Envelope, and the Festive Travel Journal. Each mode opens sequentially during the event, offering you a variety of ways to join in on the Lantern Rite festivities.

Participating in these activities earns exclusive rewards like Xiangling’s festive outfit, New Year’s Cheer, Primogems, a Crown of Insight, and even a free 4-star character from Liyue. If you miss out on Xiangling’s outfit during the event, it will later be available in the Character Outfit Shop for 1,680 Genesis Crystals after Version 5.3 ends.

We begin the event with Immortal Combat, a battle where you control rattan figures. The mechanics involve matching blocks of the same colour to make them disappear while dealing damage to your opponent’s rattan figure. It’s equal parts of strategy and fun as you select figures with distinct abilities. Plus, you can also challenge your friends in a two-player mode.

This will be followed by the Custom Gift Envelope stall, which brings a creative activity to Genshin Impact. In this minigame, you can design your own gift envelopes. Using motifs and decorations, you can craft envelopes to exchange with visiting friends during the Lantern Rite festival. Publish them to show the power of your imagination to everyone.
