Microsoft Will Finally Allow You to Check Out Guides for Games Including Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 With a Revolutionary Feature

If you’ve ever played classic RPGs, you’ll know that one of the most fun aspects of it is being the most powerful person on the map. Games like Diablo 4, Path of Exile 2, Elden Ring, and others thrive on ultra-powerful builds.

However, creating builds in Diablo 4 or Path of Exile 2 requires some level of planning. This could be difficult for players who are new. Choosing the right skills and equipment as well as exploring certain areas are vital when making the perfect player build.

Gamers through the years have relied heavily on walkthroughs and guides to create the perfect endgame build. Numerous guides online detail each step of the way so new players will know exactly how to go about it. Games like Diablo 4 or Elden Ring even have guides for early, mid, and late-game builds. To enhance the quality of life for gamers, Microsoft has released a new revolutionary feature that could help Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 players.

Microsoft’s new feature is a godsend for fans of Diablo 4 and similar games.

The process of checking out guides has been the same for years and until now no change was in sight. The problem was the break in immersion as players were forced to switch tabs to view a guide.

This could be especially terrible for online-only games like Diablo 4 where a loss of focus for even a little bit could be fatal. However, gamers can rejoice as Microsoft’s new feature will now allow gamers to view guides without switching out tabs.

Microsoft Edge Game Assist

The Microsoft Game Bar has been around for a while now yet it hasn’t exactly been used much. However, this new feature will most likely make the Game Bar an important asset for all gamers. Basically, Microsoft will now allow videos to be pinned to the Game Bar so gamers can pull it up when stuck in a rut and view the guide that they want to. This will be a game-changer for games like Diablo 4, Elden Ring, Path of Exile 2, and many others.

However, the only downside to this is changing the default browser to Microsoft Edge which could prove disadvantageous to those who use their machine for activities other than gaming. Yet, this update will most certainly be well-received by most of the gaming community.

How big of a difference will this make to Diablo 4 and other games?

Games like Diablo 4 have a large community filled with people who’ve been playing since the original Diablo game. While an update like this will certainly make Alt+Tab-ing obsolete and games like Diablo 4 a lot more welcoming, it may also ruin the fun of experimentation and exploration.

Games today have heavily begun to teach gamers every step of the way when beginning a new game. Yet there have been numerous examples of games that throw you into a new world with barely any tutorial or map that are absolutely marvelous.

The reason why these specific games stand out is their pro-exploration approach. You are left to your own devices and it’s up to you to figure out what to do. With such an easy way to view guides, players may end up relying on this feature and missing out on some incredible experiences.

However, one thing is certain. The ARPG scene is going to be a lot more tolerant of new players and games such as Diablo 4 will likely see an increase in numbers. The new feature from Microsoft ensures that no one will be too overwhelmed when trying out a game they are unfamiliar with.

What do you think about this? Do you feel such a feature was necessary? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
