Expertise Quests in Fortnite are a Grindfest that Players Want Epic Games to Get Rid Of For Good

In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, a new quest type is available that rewards players for becoming weapons experts and gives them seasonal experience points (XP) as well as a discount when they buy Legendary weapons from NPCs throughout the season. Season 1: Hunters marked the official beginning of Fortnite‘s Chapter 6.

Through the end of Season 1, Expertise Quests can be found alongside Fortnite‘s Kickstart, Daily, Story, and Weekly Quests. These quests are divided into stages, and you can get rewards for finishing each one. When all the stages are finished, you’ll also get a huge reward. However, completing these quests can be very tedious sometimes.

Three distinct NPCs located throughout the Fortnite map are linked to Expertise Quests in Chapter 6 of Season 1. These are the first characters you will encounter in the Expertise questline. Regarding Expertise and sales of exclusive legendary weapons, you will need to talk to Hope, Ryüji, or Agent Jones. You will immediately receive 15,000 XP for the season if you do this.

Ryüji spends his time north of Lost Lake, close to the giant turtle POI, while Hope and Jones are located at the recently established Hopeful Heights Named Location.

You will have to finish five quest stages pertaining to various weapon types after you finish the first one and talk to one of them about Expertise. After finishing all five stages, you will receive 25K XP, and you will be able to buy a Legendary Weapon from one of those three NPCs for less money if you have Gold Bars.

Heavy ammo is still present throughout the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 map, even though there are currently Expertise quests available for three NPCs and three weapon types. Later in the season, more Expertise quests for heavy weapons or snipers might be added. For more information, frequently check the Quests tab’s Expertise section, but that tab is a nightmare for the fans as well.

Completing the Expertise Quests can be a tiring job in Fortnite

Unlike Fortnite‘s Milestone Quests, Weapon Expertise Quests in Chapter 6 Season 1 seem to be a lot different, that you will have to grind hard to finish. There might be a way to deal with the enormous amounts of damage required for each weapon to pass the first quest stage, though. And the process is pretty tiring too. Sometimes brainless players are taking Quests NPCs hostages too.

The first step is to land close to other players so that you can start fighting as soon as the game begins. Another tactic is to focus on practicing with the new Assault Rifles, Shotguns, and SMGs at the beginning of the season rather than acquiring Typhoon Blades and other flashy weapons. Still, the Expertise Quests feel like a headache.

Selecting which NPCs on the island sell Legendaries might be a smart move after you’ve obtained the discounted price for Legendary Weapon purchases in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. In this manner, you can land close to those NPCs, pick up a weapon that is on sale early in the game, and use it to gain an advantage and possibly even a victory royale.

Although new NPCs may emerge during a Fortnite season, the table below currently indicates which NPCs are in possession of Legendary weapons and where to locate them.
