Man killed, children injured in horror crash at Craigmore
A man has been killed and two children injured in a horrific head-on crash north of Adelaide, with another man now facing charges.
The man was driving his black Volkswagen sedan along Uley Rd, Craigmore at about 8.30am on Friday when it collided with a white Holden sedan, police have said.
The man was driving two children to school at the time, according to 9News.
The driver of Volkswagen, a 49-year-old Hewett man, died at the scene.
The two children, both aged under 10, were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Residents in the area told 7News they heard a loud bang followed by screaming.
“I heard a woman screaming, save him, save him,” one woman said.

The driver of the Holden, a 48-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
After his release from hospital, he was arrested and charged with causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of cause harm by dangerous driving.
He was granted bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 17 March.
