All announcements from May 2024’s tinyBuild Connect

Amidst the recent wave of negative news in the video game industry, tinyBuild Connect provided a refreshing look at what’s to come. The showcase revealed numerous new games from the publisher and announced a massive sale on Steam, live until May 27.

Between newly announced games and updates on already revealed titles, TinyBuild shared news on over 13 games during the showcase. Here’s a quick briefing on everything revealed.

First up is new gameplay footage for SAND, set in a desert world. This extraction FPS introduces mech-based warfare to the genre. Players will get a chance to try the game this summer with a planned beta test.

Next came a look at Drill Core, where corporate greed drives this planet-mining game. Players must strategically mine while fending off enemies in this top-down game and ensure profits for their corporate overlords—or risk being shot out of the airlock.

Another title quickly took the stage: Level Zero: Extraction. This extraction shooter adds the fear and horror of creatures that stalk you in the dark. It’s a PvPvPvE game where you face off against other humans and monsters, with the option to play as the creatures.

Voin featured a new dev diary with solo developer Nikita Sozidar offering lighthearted updates and news of a new demo currently available on Steam. No release date was announced.

One of the most interesting announcements was The King is Watching, a strategy city-builder. The unique concept requires players to watch workers to keep them working, leading to important strategic choices on who to watch for success.

Streets of Rogue 2 brought only a teaser—for the PC Gaming Show.

Luckily, Rawmen had a lot more to share. This free-to-play multiplayer arena game features two teams of four in a ridiculous food fight. Rawmen will launch on the Epic Games Store on July 23.

A new DLC for Not For Broadcast was announced. The Timeloop DLC will be the final story for this FMV game, introducing a new time-bending mystery when it launches later this year.

On August 8, a new installment in the beloved train tycoon simulator will arrive. Train Valley World is a homage to classic simulator games and has a demo available now on Steam.

Punch Club 2 revealed a new DLC at TinyBuild Connect. The Iron Fist content will be available for the fighter management simulator in July. Punch Club 2 is already available for purchase.

Possibly the most interesting game shown was Duckside, a survival crafting game where Rust meets ducks as playable characters. An open beta will begin on June 6, offering everyone a chance to become the ultimate duck.

Future-dwellers can celebrate as I Am Future received a new update announcement. Solar energy is coming to this post-apocalyptic game, introducing new systems and improvements in a free content update.

As we neared the end of the showcase, we saw a pre-release trailer for Astor: Blade of the Monolith. This fast-paced action RPG releases on May 30 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

Finally, to cap off the showcase, we got a new look at Kingmakers. This medieval war game features modern weapons and massive battles against thousands of enemy forces. With explosive weapons and tanks, players will witness battlefield destruction reminiscent of the old Battlefield games.

Make sure to check out these and many other tinyBuild games on Steam, with discounts of up to 80% off.
