Ready Player One’s The ReadyVerse Looks Like a Next-Gen Second Life Filled with AI and Fortnite-esque Worlds that’ll Offer You the Opportunity to Get Lost Forever
Fans of Ready Player One have reason to be excited after the latest reveal trailer for the Readyverse on social media, bringing the universe of the book and movie to life in what looks to be a groundbreaking piece of software that will allow players to create their own world.
The Readyverse looks to be a really exciting prospect, a modern-day second-life with some intriguing possibilities to explore, a recent trailer posted to X shows just how versatile the software looks to be, taking full advantage of the power of AI in an interesting way.
The whole world is designed by the player with help from an AI curator who uses the player’s ideas to create whatever the player desires such as a far-off planet or furniture for the player’s lobby area. But that’s not all the Readyverse can do, with the possibilities to meet up and chat with your friends but also teleport into several different games within the world itself.
The game itself looks very interesting implementing AI, social aspects, and other games within a larger game allowing fans to truly get lost and immerse themselves in the digital life they have fully created for themselves. With seemingly endless possibilities with regard to customization, music, and activities while allowing players to become someone new, following the same idea that the film and book did.

The graphics shown in the trailer have a similar look to them as Fortnite as does much of the artwork giving a very colorful and vibrant feel to the Readyverse and it will be interesting to see where the developers take the ideas.
Fans have as always had their say on the new reveal for the Readyverse with the response looking overwhelmingly positive and excited for what is an amazing prospect, with one user seemingly joking that someone read Ready Player One and said I could do that.

Another commented that while the graphics don’t “blow them away” they are still drawn to the software comparing it to Third Life which was an older game with a similar premise that you could create a whole new life within a game.
This is looking like Third Life. And I mean that as a huge compliment. Graphics aren’t blowing me away, but that’s not what drew me to it anyway:
