A Dawesville penthouse will sell for millions of dollars cheaper than it did nearly two decades ago, in a complex where the apartments are selling up to 75 per cent below their off-the-plan price, highlighting the vagaries of WA’s boom or bust property market.

A beachfront penthouse near Mandurah is being offered for $1.75 million, millions less than it sold for in 2007.

The staggering plunge in value comes in the Oceanique complex, close to the Dawesville Cut — where apartments have been selling for up to 75 per cent below their off-the-plan price.
