Alan Wake 2’s second DLC, The Lake House, is coming in October

Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that The Lake House, the second piece of Alan Wake 2 DLC, will be released in October.

The DLC, which will take place at The Lake House, appears to feature references and locations from Control, Remedy’s other franchise.

“Dive into a harrowing survival horror experience with the latest expansion for Alan Wake 2, set in an eerie new location on the shores of Cauldron Lake,” the DLC’s official description reads.

“Within the Federal Bureau of Control’s research station, the Lake House, a catastrophic event has occurred, where reckless experiments have caused reality to collide with the Dark Place.”

This expansion unfolds parallel to the main game, putting you in the shoes of FBC agent Kiran Estevez, portrayed by Janina Gavankar

Alan Wake 2 was Remedy Entertainment’s fastest-selling game to date.

A physical edition of the game will be released on October 22nd.

VGC declared Alan Wake 2 our game of the year for 2023, saying: “In one of the best years ever for video games, Alan Wake 2 manages to stand alone.”

At The Game Awards 2023, Alan Wake 2 won the awards for Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction and Best Narrative.
