Alfred Hitchcock 4K Limited-Edition Collector’s Set Releases Soon, Preorders Discounted At Amazon
Few figures in Hollywood have been as influential as Alfred Hitchcock, and if you’re looking to catch up on several of his groundbreaking films, a very limited-edition 4K collector’s set releases November 26. This is essentially a greatest hits bundle of his movies, all remastered in 4K and presented in book-style packaging. Only 5,150 of these bundles are available, and each one comes with a wealth of extra content like storyboards, sketches, photos, and exclusive artwork in a special-edition book.
Alfred Hitchcock: The Iconic Film Collection Limited Edition (4K UHD + Digital)
$150.79 ($180) | Releases November 26 | Only 5,150 will be made
For the films, you’re getting six thrillers and 15 hours of bonus materials. This includes legacy material and brand-new features, so these are comprehensive editions of these classics. Rear Window is considered to be one of the best murder-mystery films of all time; To Catch a Thief added some romance to the big-screen suspense; and Vertigo is an excellent psychological thriller.
The Birds is still a brilliant tale of nature striking back at humanity, while North by Northwest is a gripping tale of mistaken identity. Finally, Psycho is considered to be one of Hitchcock’s most-famous films, if not one of the best movies of all time as it pushed the boundaries for grisly content. It might seem tame by today’s standards, but it was downright scandalous when it was first released in 1960.
You can check out the bonus features for all six films below. And if you want to add a Hitchcock box set to your collection but aren’t interested in a limited-edition pricey set, you have several other discounted options at Amazon. These are just a few of the horror box sets featured in our huge roundup of horror movie and TV series deals.
